Invoicing & Payments

Quote Approved? Invoice Sent. Deposit Collected.

The moment a client approves a quote, it converts to an invoice. Take a deposit on the spot, schedule payment plans, and watch it land in QuickBooks automatically.

Quote Approved? Invoice Sent. Deposit Collected.

Stop chasing money. Start collecting it on time.

For most stone shops, the gap between 'approved' and 'paid' is where cash flow dies. Invoices get re-typed into QuickBooks. Deposits get verbal-only. Final balances get forgotten until the install crew is loading the truck. Remnant Finder closes that gap so every dollar follows the job — automatically.

What's included

Built for the deposit-progress-final reality

Stone work doesn't bill like a coffee shop. There's a deposit at signing, a progress payment after templating or fab, and a final balance on install day. Remnant Finder lets you set that schedule once on the quote, and the system tracks every milestone — sending reminders before each one is due.

Every payment is logged with method, date and notes, and the project balance updates in real time. Your installer at the kitchen on Friday can see 'final balance: $2,400 due on completion' before they even unload the truck.

If you use QuickBooks Online, customers, vendors, estimates, invoices and payments sync both ways. No more re-typing every line for your bookkeeper. No more 'is this paid?' Slack messages.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate payment processor?

No. Card, ACH, and (in Brazil) PIX are built in via Stripe. You can also record cash, check or external transfers manually if you prefer.

What happens to the invoice in QuickBooks?

If you connect QuickBooks Online, every invoice, customer and payment syncs automatically — both ways. Your accountant sees them in QB exactly as they appear in Remnant Finder.

Can I do partial deposits and progress payments?

Yes. You can split any invoice into milestones (deposit, progress, final) with their own due dates. The system tracks the running balance and sends reminders.

What about taxes and surcharges?

Set tax rates per location and per line item. Surcharges (e.g., card fees, freight) can be added per quote or globally. All show up correctly on the PDF and in QuickBooks.
